Hunter Valley Homes, a company affiliated with Duncan Hardie, has developed a diverse property portfolio across the Hunter Valley Region. The portfolio consists of residential, rural residential lifestyle, rural holdings, grazing properties and a mixture of commercial sites including service centres and hotel sites. 

During 2005, Duncan commenced changing the focus of the group from a property based company to a resource based company with the initial studies for the Queensland to Hunter Gas Pipeline and the first oil and gas exploration licence applications being lodged. The groups’ interest has continued to expand in to the energy sector under Hardie Resources, refer to www.hardieresources.com.

Duncan is now fully focussed on the resources group and has based himself in Wellington, New Zealand where the Hardie Resources Head Office is located.

Despite the property market being slow over the past 2 years in New South Wales and the difficult planning process, we have achieved circa $60M of sales in this period. 

The Hardie group continues to progress rezoning and development approvals for the balance of the portfolio and has limited individual lots available for sale.
